Summary

I am a F.R.S.-FNRS PhD student at the Université of Mons (UMONS) and the Université Polytechnique Hauts de France (UPHF). I work under the supervision of Christophe Troestler (UMONS) and Colette De Coster (UPHF). During my PhD thesis, I continue the study began during my Master's thesis on "Explosion phenomena for a nonlinear Schrödinger equation". A goal of my thesis is to a provide a computer-assisted proof of the Spectral Property introduced by Merle and Raphaël in their study of blow-up phenomena for second order energy-critical NLS equations, following a paper of Fibich, Merle and Raphaël. I am also interested in the study on NLS on noncompact metric graphs, mostly using variational techniques. See e.g. this review by Kairzhan, Noja and Pelinovsky for an overview of the topic of standing waves on metric graphs.
